Photography and Videography: Seeing the world like never before.

Seeing Beyond the Human Eye

Our eyes and ability to process information are extremely complex yet vital tools in our everyday lives. Photographer Spotlight: Dave Hill

Lighting and Photoshop Genius

"Hiding The Map" by Dave Hill

Dave Hill has been a big inspiration to me since I first got into photography. He is one of the photographers who truly set the bar for both photographic creativity, lighting and post processing. The photo above is my personal favorite of his collection to date. With so much detail and spot on lighting, this is truly a masterwork in the art of photography. I among others would love to learn his techniques and perhaps in the future he will throw a photographic bone to calm our seething interest in his world of true magic.

In my opinion layer masks are one of the most important things you can learn in Photoshop. The ability to make adjustments to your photos and mask out the parts that you don't want affected completely, or partially, is a vital step in the editing process. Additionally, layer masks allot you to combine photos and have total control over how to do this.

So many times have I needed to go back half way through an edit so I could tweak something in camera raw but couldn't since it was already opened in photoshop. But that is no longer a problem.

5 Tips For Capturing Unpredictable Moments

Attempted Bird-Pan

As most photographers will tell you, a photo is not always waiting until you are ready to take it. It is very easy to miss a shot because your camera is still set for that shot you took five minutes ago. Here are a few of my quick tips for helping you be ready for those unpredictable moments.
